New Members

​Joining Uke Heads starts with purchasing your very own Uke Head (your musical identity within the ensemble) for $187.90 USD. This one-time purchase includes lifetime membership in the Uke Heads community and free participation in your first project.

Returning Members

​

Participation in new projects is offered on a per-project opt-in basis. The project fee for returning members varies depending on the scope of the project. It covers access to rehearsals, materials, and the ability to submit recordings for inclusion in the album.

 

If a current member chooses not to opt in, they still remain part of the Uke Heads community with access to our Slack workspace, but they won't receive invitations to rehearsals or be permitted to upload audio for the project.

This approach is designed to be fair and flexible:

 

• Everyone pays for their Uke Head.

• Everyone gets their first project included.

• Returning members choose whether or not to participate in each new project by paying the project fee.

Note: if you’re already a member and you buy a new Uke Head to add to your collection, you may join the current project without paying an additional project fee; it’s included with your new Uke Head.

 

Also, if you’re already a Uke Head but haven’t yet participated in any project, you’re still entitled to one project for free. However, if you’ve contributed to a previous project (even just part of one), you’ll need to opt in with a project fee to join the next one.
